Established in 1985 in West Warwick by two well-known persons – Peter Burnham and Mark Ferullo, Central Oriental continues to be the leading world manufacturer and importer of machine and hand made rugs. In 1992, the president of Natco Home Fashions, Michael Litner took a deep interest in Central Oriental and a new partnership was established in the end. That moment played a key role in the company’s history and had a direct impact on the product assortment expansion. In 2002, Central Oriental established a new partnership with a US-based rug manufacturing company - Flemish Master Weavers. “High quality – reasonable prices” is the main company’s motto.
